Long Winded Author’s Note: I’ll try to make sure everything makes sense even if you haven’t seen DS9. Anyway, this is going to be long-ish, and it will have something resembling a plot. Also, I’ve taken great liberties with the StarTrek universe – hope y’all don’t mind. As this is mirror verse, most people are a lot scarier, but don’t expect ALL characters to be evil (see DS9 for proof that I’m not crazy)… and please don’t kill me for my choice of villain.
Chapter Notes: I’m so sorry this chapter took so long! Darn you, real life, for interfering with fic! Anyways, lots of Kirk/Mirror!Spock interaction in this chapter :) I know there was some confusion about the last chapter - I've edited it slightly since posting, and at the end of this chapter is a link to a summary-thus-far.
